Who am I?
Funny you should ask, in fact, I began this blog 4 years ago to figure out the same thing. Let me start by telling you that I am a 27 year old wife to an awesome hubster, and a mom to two amazing boys (Theo 4 and Elliot 2) with a little girl coming soon May 2014.
For a really long time I stressed out about what others thought of me, and I really struggled with God’s plan for my life. Through the therapy of writing this blog as well as the comradarie of internet friends, I have discovered a new, older and {hopefully} wiser version of myself.
Here are a few things about me that you may (or may not) know.
-I am a Christian, and I try my best to love everyone I meet just like my hero Jesus.
– I love thrifting, antiquing and finding vintage and eclectic pieces that I usually don’t “need”.
– I love to read, but since having children I never have time.
– I tend to find myself in awkward situations. LIKE ALL. THE. TIME.
– My life dream is to not only be a mommy, but to one day write a memoir as well as write a sitcom.
– I am an old soul. I love oldies music as well as classic trends. Sometimes I think life would be so much easier if I could hop in a ’56 Chevy and cruise.
– I come from a long line of hoarders and I am constantly fearful of having too much stuff.
– I’m a stay-at-home mom and I usually spend most of my days wearing some variation of leggings and a v neck. This outfit also moonlights as PJs most days.
– I teach and choreograph dance part time, and I adore being creative, but my fear of failure sometimes prevents my creative spirit from completely emerging in other ways.
– The dance floor is truly my home.
– My children are my life.
-There’s nothing like a margarita and a beach…
Oh and I should probably tell you that my name is Jess Elaine.
Welcome to my blog. I’m pretty sure we just became best friends.
