Why I blog.

I blog because it’s free therapy. Four years ago when I started this little blog (back then it was called Random Blog Drama) it was my favorite place. I mean, not only because I love talking about myself (uh who doesn’t)  but because it helped me cope through the emotional loss of my dad.

Shortly after starting this blog my husband and I moved to Cincinnati, and even though it’s only an hour away from my hometown, I left all of my family and friends. With only a few people in my arsenal down here, I began to commiserate and share my experiences on my blog only to find,  that lo’ and behold, I was not so alone after all. Moving and meeting new people is always hard, but I truly think that meeting new women and making real, true adult friends is the hardest task of all. Women are truly terrifying. I know this to be fact. I am one after all.

So long story short, I blog because;

1) It’s a great way to connect with other mommies as well as document these amazing (and not so amazing) moments that are happening in my life.

2)  I find myself in hella funny situations more than I want to admit.

3) YOU.

so Thanks for reading. I look forward to probably making you uncomfortable at times.

  1. Hi Jess! I found your blog on a fb group (early mamas) and decided that I must follow you because of your honesty. It's so true — meeting new women is so scary! Also a reason why I blog, too. Looking forward to following! xo,Loreannhttp://whosjomama.wordpress.com

About Me

I’m Jess, a wife and mom of 6 that hides behind this blog screen. I’m a color, giltter, sparkle fan, shopaholic, comfort fashionista, dance instructor, and self proclaimed old “vintage loving” soul, who believes in living LOUD and in your true Vibe. Follow along as I figure out life because I’m just here doing the very best I can. Often you’ll find me on the sports field, at a dance competition or taking spotty mirrored selfies of my wacky boho fits.

While I’m not here to rewrite Hemingway, I hope you’ll find a giggle, or a smile somewhere in these posts.

Thanks for stopping by!
